Stranger's Echo is an audiovisual performance exploring identity and displacement through a custom MIDI controller with Arduino featuring the Chinese character 我 ("me") on an acrylic board. The broken facial parts etched into the design symbolize a fractured self and the struggles of navigating cultural and personal dissonance. Through the design of the controller and music composition, the work examines the cohesive external self while revealing the internal fragmentation shaped by the intersection of diverse languages and cultures.​
